Communications Service Technician 2-Way radio, Two-Way Radio Technician, Joliet, IL

Duties Include:

  • Installation, preventative maintenance, testing, repairing and modifying various two-way radio infrastructures.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, discuss, and resolve questions and problems with customers in a positive and efficient manner on customer’s site or at A Beep’s shop location.
  • Repairing, maintaining, modifying and programming two-way radio communications equipment and systems, troubleshooting customer equipment problems.
  • Analyze and comprehend diagnostic test results in order to repair and program radios and wireless equipment.
  • You may be needed to work overtime from time to time and to do field work.

Requirements:

  • Must have 3-5 years of experience in the radio and communication area.
  • Extensive knowledge/understanding of two-way radio theory and communications systems required.
  • The ability to program, troubleshoot and perform system diagnostics on complex radio systems.
  • Knowledge of battery backup systems, base stations, repeaters, mulitcouplers and duplexers, basic networking skills.
  • 2-year degree in electronics or related field or comparable military training and/or experience.
  • Candidates must possess clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
  • You must be a self-starter with excellent customer service skills.

FCC General Radio-Telephone License or PCIA (NABER) certification is a plus

Position Summary:

This is a great opportunity for a motivated person who likes to sell. We need additional people to discover and close on sales leads. Full and Part-Time positions are available.

This is a salary plus commission position.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Calling on new accounts. Creating and following up on sales leads. Closing sales and managing the customer interface of the installation of equipment sold.

Qualifications:

Previous experience with 2-way radio or other communications sales is a plus. If you are currently selling 2-way radio equipment you need to look at this position. This opportunity has earning potential greater than most positions in this industry.

BA/BS in business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Demonstrate a stable track record of an ability to provide successful sales. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to present in both small and large group settings.

Strong organizational skills are imperative.

We are looking for an outgoing individual with office experience. You will assist our Network Technician with data entry and administrative tasks. You will report to our Diga Talk Plus Office Manager and assist with a variety of duties including marketing efforts. This is a full-time job that requires physical presence at our location in Joliet, IL. Hours of operation: Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Assist with Diga-Talk Plus order processing, programming and order fulfillment
  • Data Entry and various tasks for our Diga Talk Plus Network
  • Packing and shipping light to medium weight items to meet deadlines for product delivery
  • Assisting Sales Reps with quotations, estimates
  • Assisting Marketing with mailings, websites, press releases and social media
  • General office support as assigned or requested

Qualification Requirements:

  • Strong Computer Skills are a must
  • Previous Office Experience
  • QuickBooks experience a plus

Inventory/Order Assistant, Joliet, IL

bWe are looking for an organized individual with experience pulling orders and receiving shipments. You will assist our Purchasing Agent for shipping and receiving as well as our Sales Office Manager for processing orders and shipping. This is a full-time job that requires physical presence at our location in Joliet, IL. Hours of operation: Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Receives boxes, Opens checks contents against packing slip and PO.
  • Records Serial Numbers (Radios) in receipt, Receives in QuickBooks.
  • Fill Sales Orders and put additional away for stock
  • Notify Sales Reps that items are received and ship orders to customers
  • Packing and shipping light to medium weight items to meet deadlines for product delivery
  • Serve as a liaison between sales staff and technical support staff as needed
  • General office support as assigned or requested

Qualification Requirements:

  • Strong Computer Skills are a must. QuickBooks experience a plus
  • Previous Office Experience
  • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills

Main responsibilities would include social media creation and design, assisting our Marketing Manager/Graphic Designer with updating websites and marketing campaigns. We prefer candidates who live in the Joliet area.

Regular Duties Include:
